“The yoga retreat with Charlotte, Laura and Chris came at exactly the right time for me - a time when there was so much going on around me that I almost doubted whether I could afford this time out at all. But this yes to the retreat was also a yes to myself - doing something good for myself, focusing on myself and my needs, not having to worry about daily obligations. “Slow Down & Nourish” was the theme of the retreat and I practiced both during this time. It was not only the delicious food that was served to us every day that was nourishing, but also the input from workshops, additional offers and the many enriching and/or entertaining conversations that we had in the pleasantly small group. Charlotte and Laura were also open to our questions and suggestions and tailored the yoga sessions to our wishes. To my delight, the slow-down approach didn't stop us from breaking a sweat. Apart from the fact that everyone was free to skip program points according to the motto “nothing must, everything can”, the ratio between program and free time was exactly the right balance for me. The location did the rest to make it possible to unwind. Thank you very much! “The yoga retreat was so good for me on so many different levels. The really beautiful villa is surrounded by nature, super idyllic and therefore just right for coming down, grounding yourself and feeling calm. As we had good weather, we spent most of our time outside, which is something I usually really miss in my everyday life.
The morning and evening yoga sessions as well as the other planned activities (cocoa ceremony, journaling, breathwork, excursion into the city, etc.) were very well coordinated - a pleasant mix of rest/relaxation, activity/movement and inspiration to reflect on myself. We were also able to organize our days however we wanted: there was no pressure to do everything, just a lot of freedom and plenty of space for ourselves. At the same time, there was always someone to talk to if you wanted to. I also found Laura, Charlotte and Christoph to be very attentive and welcoming. I felt comfortable right from the start and it was easy for me to address my needs or concerns here (which is not always the case elsewhere).
I should also mention the really, really delicious food that was freshly prepared for us at every meal - we were always excited to find out what we were going to eat next and were never disappointed :)
All in all, it was a really special place where I was able to relax and learn a lot about myself.”
